This film is inspired by Rembrandt's painting "Decent from the Cross", 1634. After deeply studying Rembrandt I had understood the specific ways he used the light, clothes and textures in his work. I wanted to create this piece of moving image with every detail in mind, my vision was for his paintings to come fully alive. In the final shot I recreated the light and composition of the painting.
